Do you ever feel anxiety when there is no obvious reason for it? Does it affect your mood, concentration, sleep, appetite, relationships? Has this ever happened to you after having experienced a difficult, fearful event?

In all cases, anxiety is very debilitating. Anxiety often does not remain static, but begins affecting your life in ever-advancing ways. It can cause you to avoid a certain place, and later avoid a second and a third, etc., until you may remain mostly at home in order not to feel the anxiety. Anxiety may cause problems with any and/or all of the above mentioned issues.

        -   ​​​​​​​Developing a schedule, as structure improves a feeling of control;

        -   ​​​​​​​Guided imagery;

        -   ​​​​​​​Prolonged exposure to the anxiety-provoking stimuli;

        -   ​​​​​​​Distracting one’s thinking;

        -   ​​​​​​​Cognitive behavior therapy;

        -   ​​​​​​​Nutrition;

        -   ​​​​​​​Aerobic exercise;

        -   ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Relaxation exercises, yoga, etc.
